Here are the terms and conditions for participating in our walking tours.

Policies, Terms & Conditions – Walking Tours

The ensuing terms and conditions delineate the relationship between the customer/guest and Jaipur Retold.

By booking a walking tour with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. They outline our cancellation, refund, and other policies.

 

Reservations, Payments, Cancellations & No–Show Policy

 

Payments

Advance payment for the walking tour is required at the time of booking. 

• Payment may be made by secure international Electronic Bank Transfer in Rupees. Details for the electronic transfer will be provided at the time of booking.
• The payment should be equivalent to the total tour price, exclusive of any bank or transfer charges or fluctuations in the foreign exchange rate at the booking time.

 

Cancellations/ No-Show

Cancellation requests of the walking tour by the customer/guest must be made in writing via email; fees are applied as below:

• Cancellations received 30 days or more, prior to the walking tour date: 10% deduction

• Cancellations received between 29 to 16 days prior to the walking tour date: 50% cancellation fee

• Cancellations received 15 or fewer days prior to the walking tour date or no-shows: 100% cancellation fee

A 100% refund will be issued if Jaipur Retold cancels the walking tour due to unforeseen conditions.

 

Rescheduling of the Walking Tour

No deductions apply for rescheduling up to 15 days or more in advance of the walking tour date. For rescheduling within 15 days, a 15% deduction is applicable.

 

Arriving Late

Please notify us if unforeseen circumstances lead to your late arrival. We can wait for up to 20 minutes from the designated start time; however, after this period, conducting the tour cannot be guaranteed. No refunds will be provided for late arrivals exceeding 20 minutes.

 

Safety And Other Terms and Conditions

• While steps are undertaken to ensure the walking tours in Jaipur are safe, they operate in an extremely busy area of Jaipur with sometimes unexpected safety risks. You agree to take all due care, diligence, and attention while on our walking tours and listen carefully to the walk leader as well as any safety talk that may be given.
• By attending a walking tour, you acknowledge and agree you do so at your own risk. 
• Jaipur Retold disclaims responsibility and is not liable for any injury, theft, loss, damage, or inconvenience sustained during the walking tours. 
•  The walking tours do require a level of fitness to walk for a few hours. If any participant suffers from a medical condition that could prevent them from undertaking the walking tour, including, but not limited to, dizziness, seizures, limb or back injuries, angina or other heart conditions, significant or uncontrolled asthma, visual impairment, depression or recovering from recent surgery, we request you obtain clearance from your doctor before undertaking a walking tour.

• Please advise us in advance of any health,  or mobility issues that may affect your walking tour and that we may require to account for in planning a walking tour route. If no such advice is provided, the walking tour will be planned for clients of average health, and mobility and who have no specific extra needs. 

• We are happy to welcome your children on our Jaipur walking tours. The age of your children must be notified to us in advance to enable us to plan your walking tour so that it is suitable for all ages within your family or small group. All children under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult and remain the sole responsibility of their supervising adult/parent/guardian at all times.

• The tours may be canceled in extreme weather conditions or due to unforeseen circumstances
• We will never disclose your details to any third party.
